Nigerian President Yar'Adua is dead, says state TV
A presidential aide and the information minister confirmed his death. Mr Yar'Adua, who became president in 2007, has been ill for some time.
The government announced seven days of national mourning and said the president would be buried on Thursday.
Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan - who became acting president in February - will be sworn in later, reports say.
The Nigerian Television Authority interrupted its normal programming to announce the news, in a brief statement early on Thursday.
The announcer said: "The president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, died a few hours ago at the presidential villa.
"Security aides notified the national security adviser, General Anou Bissou, who immediately called the acting president. The late president has been ill for some time."
Mr Yar'Adua, a Muslim, will be laid to rest later on Thursday in his home state of Katsina, in the north of the country.
Heart condition
Reports from Nigeria said Mr Yar'Adua died between 2100 (2000 GMT) and 2200 (2100 GMT) on Wednesday in the capital, Abuja.
In November, Mr Yar'Adua went to a hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for several months, during which time he was not heard from, apart from a BBC interview.
He told the BBC by telephone in January that he was recovering and hoped with "tremendous progress" to resume his duties.
presidential spokesman said at the time that he was being treated for acute pericarditis, an inflammation of the lining around the heart.
His long absence and the lack of detailed information about his health led to a political limbo in Nigeria that was only filled when Mr Jonathan was named acting president.

There had been tension between the two men's supporters and in March Mr Jonathan dissolved the cabinet and later put his own team in place.
Elections were scheduled for next year.
Mr Yar'Adua's election in 2007 marked the first transfer of power from one civilian president to another since Nigeria's independence in 1960.
He came to power promising a long list of reforms, including tackling corruption and reforming the inadequate power sector and the flawed electoral system.
But the area in which analysts say he made the most progress was in tackling the unrest in the oil-rich Niger Delta, by offering an amnesty to rebels.
Mr Yar'Adua was seen as a straight man, a quiet, religious person who was a good administrator, says the BBC's Africa analyst Martin Plaut.

Residents defend Arizona after immigration law
Christie Vollmecke has one thing to say to people calling Arizona racist for passing the toughest law against illegal immigration in the nation: You don't know what we're going through.
There are constant reports on television of criminals smuggling migrants. Just Friday night, a sheriff's deputy patrolling the desert was wounded in a shootout with suspected drug traffickers. Vollmecke says she is too scared to visit the southern part of the state anymore.
"I don't think I'm racist; I don't think the vast majority of us are racist," the 57-year-old real estate agent said. "I just want to feel safe in my own state."

Arizona's law, signed by Republican Gov. Jan Brewer last month, makes it a state crime to lack immigration papers and requires police to determine whether people are in the country legally. It has sparked national calls for boycotts, protest marches across the country, and biting cartoons that compare the state to Nazi Germany.
Chandler is the sort of comfortable, conservative suburb that politicians point to when they claim broad local support for the law — 70% of likely voters backed it in one statewide poll. Even here, though, there's a wide range of opinions on the law's merits.
Chandler is a prototypical Phoenix suburb: stucco subdivisions, golf courses, shopping centers and lots of palm and palo verde trees. Its crime rate is comparable to that of Redondo Beach, Calif. But residents say it's more than just crime that causes them to be unhappy about illegal immigrants.
Jessica Lonkard, 30, noted that developers were trying to sell new condominiums in the town's faded downtown. "They have 50 day laborers on every street corner every day," she said. "How are they going to sell those?"
Her husband, Nick, added that the law may be "a little drastic" but said that it could allow authorities to go round up day laborers at, say, the local Home Depot without bothering Latinos who are citizens.
"I don't like racial profiling," said Nick, 30. Then he paused. "I guess I do." He concluded: "Something's got to be done."
David Padilla used those exact same words to describe his thoughts on the immigration mess. But the 47-year-old garbage collector and U.S. citizen fears police will now be focused on Latinos like himself.
"I don't want to have to carry around my passport," he said. "[But] something's got to be done; you can't have people just running back and forth across the border."
Arizona became the most popular illegal crossing point in the nation in the late 1990s, after increased security on the California border drove migrants east. Crime has steadily dropped here despite that influx, but the routes used by illegal immigrants looking for work are also used by drug smugglers. Despite the numbers showing the state is becoming safer, many Arizonans believe crime is on the rise.
Stephanie De La Ossa, 36, grew up near the border in southern Arizona, and remembers how eerie it was to have strangers running through the yard, speaking another language. She's married to a Latino man and said those who accuse Arizona of racism are wrong.
"A lot of people haven't lived in this state," she said of the critics. "They're making it into a race issue, but for the normal, law-abiding citizen it's not."
Local critics and supporters of the new law do agree on at least one point: The rest of the country needs to stop hating on Arizona.
"I feel sad for Arizona. We're always looked on as cowboy and backwards," said Malcolm Hartnell, 59, a teacher who opposes the law. His son-in-law, of Filipino descent, is constantly pulled over by law enforcement officers who are trying to find illegal immigrants. "But Arizona is really a great place to live," he added.
Gjergj Mihilli, 59, owns Mama Mia, a shop at the southern edge of Chandler's downtown that caters to Latino immigrants. He argues that the immigrant influx has been good for the city's economy and safety. "When Ronald Reagan was president, he gave amnesty to 10 million Mexicans," said Mihilli, an immigrant from Italy. "The colors of the flag of this country did not change."
He too is dismayed by the reaction of the country to Arizona's new law — but only because he fears the backlash will devastate the economy. He cited a Chicago friend who called him after the law was passed and asked: "What's going on in Arizona?"

Real ID - Great Idea or Bad Idea?
Real ID Act of 2005 is calculated to fight terrorism, identity theft, and other problems by strengthening the integrity of state-issued ID cards. The law requires on states to put into operation a set of minimum national standards in more than a few areas:. Information and security safeguards that will be built into each license. Proof of who you are, date of birth, SSN, lawful citizenship status, and primary residence address. Verification of the source papers provided by each of us.
The directive requires a person wanting to penetrate a Federal building, fly on an jet or open a credit account to show the government recognized Real ID or a passport. It would also put every ID holder in a central database. Sounds good, but the truth is that the Real ID decrements on our privacy and invites hackers to steal personal info without making the population protected from terrorists or deterring illegal immigration.
Unhappily, Real ID is a failure waiting to materialize. It is really Big Brother time!. The initial estimated expense was $15 billion, it's been "condensed" to about four billion (yes that's BILLIONS) by giving your state government greater flexibility in issuing driver's licenses to older citizens.

The Angel In My House
My sister was watching me sympathetically as I burst into tears for what annoyed me. Holding my hand firmly in hers, she sat by my side without uttering a word.
Willingly or not, I had been her sister for 13 years since I was 7 years old. Due to her arrival, I then childishly thought that I was thrown into a world of darkness, anger, frustration and self-pity. Once a lovely girl, I felt condemned by this fate to becoming a desolated burden ---- all the adults around complimented the newly-born, charming creature while neglecting my presence.
A cloud of jealousy hung over my once peaceful heart. I muddled through each day by sharing all I had previously had enjoyed alone. And all I had to cling to was to hit her and shout at her on our parents’ back.
My sister was so scared of me that each time when she was left alone with me, I could notice her trembling----and that pleased me even for years. But, I also knew that she respected me from the bottom of her heart----though I never admitted that until that day when I participated the College Entrance Examination. My parents as well as my sister all came to bolster morale for me outside the school gate. I was thoroughly prepared. I passed the line that separated the examinees and the supporters, and walked on nearly 100 meters, I suddenly heard my sister’s voice:
“Your pen-box! Sister, you forget your pen-box!”
Turning back, I saw my sister’s little body rushing past the security guards all the way towards me.
When she run up to me, what she heard was my sneer: “Pen-box are not allowed. I’ve picked out the pens.”
Then she answered breathlessly: “Oh!” daring not to look into my eyes.
Seeing my sister walk out with a disappointing back, I suddenly realized that she was always waiting for an opportunity to do something for me.
Later, when I went to university in Beijing, I tasted the ache of loneliness. Furthermore, two shocks in quick succession allowed me to learn that my sister’s really means a great deal to me.
The first thing was that, as Mother told me, after my leaving, my sister insisted on not moving any of my things. She even put my towel besides hers. She said, whenever she entered the bathroom, that would remind her of my smiles, my jokes, my being a patient listener.
Then came the second shock: I could not remember when I gave her a smile, when I ever told her jokes. As for “a patient listener”, all that came to my mind was that my sister kept telling some trivial incidents in her school day, but I put none of them into my heart, only minding my own business. Yet as long as I felt sad, it was my sister who would sit by my side, watching over me.
This summer, my father rented a house by the Nanli Lake and took us all there for several weeks. This time, it was me who was expected to catch the opportunity to push our relationship further, and to let her know how I really felt.
The first morning, we went fishing. We stared silently at the tips of our rods, at the dragonflies that came and went. I lowered the tip of mine into water, tentatively, dislodging the dragonfly. I looked at my sister, who was silently imitating me, and yet there was even no dragonfly on her rod! Then I intentionally let her hold my rod, her eyes watching. For a while, I could experience her state of mind---she was pleasantly surprised by my behavior showing acceptance.
Being wild with joy, she finally caught two Yuenan fish, hauling them in briskly and put them in the net skillfully.
Then I had to accept that, as the time went by, my sister had grown up much more independent, being able to manage many things all by herself. But still she followed me step by step, imitated whatever I did, convinced everyone of her classmates that I was the best sister in the world. I knew that she tried her best to let me know that: she loved me.
Now I once again complained in her arms, asking for her comfort. Thinking of the past 13 years with a sister, tears of happiness poured down my cheeks. For I had always felt my sister’s presence, in both heart and life. Our university period learn of the important and professional category have:Automatic control principle, numeral imitate electric circuit, calculator control the system, electromagnetism component, liquid press system and component, signal and system, electric power electronics technique, and I all have very deep comprehension to them.
Worked as an assistant engineer in the Beijing Shougang iron and steel group. My department takes charge the main power and drive equipments, for example, motor, PLC, frequency transformer and transformer equipment.Shougang iron and steel group Hebei province Jingtang project. I took a part in the construction of several new plants. These new plants are running normally. My job is debugging the product line.

- Maintain project communication matrix, incl. internal team list & external contact info.
- Co-ordination and planning of project meetings.
- Sample Management including record, distribute, tracking, recycle and warehousing.
- Time Sheet controller.
- Customer reception and logistic management.
Achievement : Excellent ability of organization and coordination. Support a project team of more than 100 person.
- Responsible for marketing research
- Collect handset’s brand information and summary the report to analysis the handset features and handset marketing trend.
- Collect the latest news of domestic and overseas handset market and issue the bi-weekly news brief.
- Provide overseas handset market analysis report .
Achievement : Provide the handsets’ marketing report and news brief to the top management.
- Responsible for planning officer
- New employee logistic planning (check in and check out support, i.e. telephone, computer, net port etc…)
- Travel planning & travel-expenses& visa arrangement
